As a team we met together during a team meeting to do a big brainstorm as to where we wanted our enviro schools topic for this year to head. We started off focussing on reducing waste but found this became just too big. Instead we decided to start with a problem we have at school - too many children are throwing away whole fruits into the class compost bin. We decided we will focus on fruit. After our initial meeting everyone seemed very motivated and excited about this topic.
